Package: console-setup Version: 1.30 Severity: important When I upgraded X today, it installed console-setup, and although my debconf priority is set to high, I was asked the "keyboard origin" question, without even a satisfying default selected.
I can reproduce that by installing console-setup on my laptop. I have not proceeded with the installation on this one, so that I can help with debugging if needed (the problem is still reproducible). I’m attaching my xorg.conf file if it can help. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- .''`.
