there're two reasons why wmi should be removed: - Jelmer is integrating parts of the code into Samba 4 (upstream) where possible. - The wmi upstream is still stuck to an insanely old version of Samba4, as they want to stick to GPLv2 _only_ with their licensing and they don't make any progress in moving to GPLv3, which is used by Samba4 now.
