Package: python-setuptools Version: 0.6c9-2 Severity: wishlist Hi!
Please build setuptools with support for Python 2.6. It's one of the fundamental external packages, and support for Python 2.6 would allow me to easily use and test other packages with Python 2.6 as well (thanks to easy_install). - Sebastian -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages python-setuptools depends on: ii python 2.5.4-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.11 register and build utility for Pyt ii python-pkg-resources 0.6c9-2 Package Discovery and Resource Acc python-setuptools recommends no packages. python-setuptools suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
