Hi Steve --

I uploaded 0.81-1 last night (and -2 rather hastily this morning), which
includes a workable prefork server. It can't yet be enabled via debconf,
because prefork doesn't yet support listening on multiple addresses, so using
it would break some deployed setups. I've sent a patch upstream to fix it,
along with some other fixes to other parts of prefork. Taint checking is
still enabled -- if you find that it's breaking anything, please file bugs.

In the meantime, though, you can select prefork in place of forkserver by
adjusting the SERVER default near the top of /etc/init.d/qpsmtpd. The debconf
selection will supercede that setting once it's added.

I've opened a bug for the followup work.
