amverify doesn't read and use the readblocksize setting in the tapetype 
definition of amanda.conf but statically sets a blocksize of 256k on line 404 
of /usr/sbin/amverify instead.

This leads to the following error message if the streamer doesn't support a 
blocksize of 256k:
