hi, i've uploaded a new upstream version in unstable today. included in this version is also a patch provided by the upstream authors that they believe should fix all sanity-checking related problems.
could you please test and verify these latest versions? i haven't heard
any further feedback from any of the reporters in some time, so it
may be that the version i posted on my people.debian.org site also
fixed the problem. if i don't hear back from anyone in 2 weeks' time
i'll close these bug reports.
