Hi,
yes, this happens with everything, from a space, to a word, a line or more complex source code.
Please ask for any other details,
Alex

Blender crashes when trying to paste text into the script editor.

Hello,

The console output is the following:
$ blender
Compiled with Python version 2.5.4.
Checking for installed Python... got it!
unknown chip id 0x95c4, can't guess.
X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 20 (X_GetProperty)
Atom id in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 34896
Current serial number in output stream: 34896

How to reproduce:
-Start Blender
-Press Shift + F11 to the text editor
-Press Alt + N to create a new file
-Right click in the editor and select "Paste"

I'm not able to reproduce this behaviour. Does that happen on any text
you might have copied? Even with simple ones, like words, single lines?

Mraw,
KiBi.
