Update to this, I downloaded the src deb and tried building it, when I
used the configure option --enable-xine it segfaulted when I tried to
run it. When I used configure --enable-mplayer it built and ran fine
including closing properly!

If I used configure with no options it will build, but no movies will play...

If I build with GTK2 support and mplayer it works fine.

If I build with gtk2 support and xine it shows the problem this bug
describes. So that seems to be the problem.

So I guess maybe two packages are needed? One for Mplayer support and
another with xine support, if someone can get xine support working?

Hopefully this is helpfull, if any further information is needed
please let me know!
