Indeed. I was somehow convinced that "texinfo" was automatically
installed in autobuilders / pbuilders.
(it is "Priority: standard" and not "essential")

It took me more than two weeks to respond, unfortunately. Life keeps
interferring.
The fixed package is available at the same URL. Re-built against the
latest unstable.
