Package: firmware-linux
Version: 0.16
Severity: minor

Hi!

While tracking down a suspend/resume issue, I came across firmware-linux
and wondered if it's needed for vanilla kernels (self compiled).

I guess this package is only necessary for the kernels shipped with
Debian, so making it clear that it's not required for kernel.org's
kernel sources would reduce some (at least my) confusion.

Cheerio
