I was assuming +cindent wasn't appropriate for -tiny, but if it's not too much bigger, that would work as well.
Another workaround would be for vimrc.tiny to set equalprg=cat. The issue I'm trying to avoid is where it deletes text because the nonexistent indent command produces no output.
