I've more info. The problem is that there should be a link named "basis-link" in /usr/lib/openoffice, but in my system there is one directory with that name. After purging openoffice.org, this directory is not deleted and it contains the file /usr/lib/openoffice/basis-link/share/config/javasettingsunopkginstall.xml
$ cat /usr/lib/openoffice/basis-link/share/config/javasettingsunopkginstall.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!--This is a generated file. Do not alter this file!--> <java xmlns="http://openoffice.org/2004/java/framework/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <enabled xsi:nil="true"></enabled> <userClassPath xsi:nil="true"></userClassPath> <vmParameters xsi:nil="true"></vmParameters> <jreLocations xsi:nil="true"></jreLocations> <javaInfo xsi:nil="true"></javaInfo> </java> $ As a third class DD I don't know which program created that file and left it there orfaned after purging all OO packages, but I'm sure you know, please close this bug or reassing it to the offending package. After deleting/moving that directory and re-installing openoffice.org packages everything works as expected. rover -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
