Package: swfdec-mozilla Version: 0.6.0-5
Dear reader, I use the package swfdec-mozilla as it comes with Lenny with iceweasel to watch videos on YouTube. I have an amd64 and also use amd64 debain. The animation is quite often very unsmooth and sometimes the audio as well. Sometimes the animation is more or less reasonable but at other times you get one frame every ten seconds, which is obviously completely unacceptable. It especially gets very bad if you do other things with the browser at the same time. E.g., if you open a new browser window often the sound does some strange things (difficult to describe in text). Sometimes other iceweasel windows become very unresponsive while another iceweasel window displays YouTube videos. Sometimes it happens that the sound slows down for a few seconds and then catches up by suddenly starting to play much faster. Also, it seems to get worse if the browser has ran longer. When the browser is just started the quality is often close to reasonable. All the best, Chris
