Package: kdebase-bin
Version: 4:4.2.2-1

Perhaps problem is also with kdm and kdebase-data.
I use Debian testing in my laptop, standard version, no any tweaking, no any special hardware - just cheap Acer Extensa. After standard apt-get upgrade it has turned out, I have lost my KDE - the old 3.5 was disabled, the new 4.2 upgrade is stopped.

Well, it is not total catastroph, as Gnome is working, but I am seriously disappointed, why the 4.2 was partialy released for upgrade, while it was not ready for anything and caused some problems. I had an illusion about Debian...

Today (02.06.2009) apt-get dist-upgrade reports following packages stopped:
   digikam kappfinder kdeartwork kdebase-bin kdebase-data kdm kipi-plugins
   kscreensaver kscreensaver-xsavers

As I see it for already some days, there is nothing more left - just to fill bug repport... Sorry...
