Either grub-install '(md0)' if you want to have grub2 in all MBRs of /dev/md0 or just the old way like grub-install /dev/sda for every disk. update-grub generates grub.cfg with `set root=(md0)' and the same is used for the --prefix in the grub-mkimage call in grub-install.
