I woundered why the following line in hosts.allow didn't work:

  in.tftpd: .iwr.uni-heidelberg.de

debuging with the line:

  in.tftpd: ALL: aclexec /tmp/test %c %h %n

yield the expanded args:

 129.206.104.80 129.206.104.80 unknown

which shows, that reverse name resolution fails somehow.

sshd (which is linked against the libwrap library) access control works.
