I have done substantial work to "modernize" this package, which I hope you will want to integrate into the next release. Please find attached draft .debian.tar.gz files (which replace older .diff.gz) for two versions. The latter adds support for the tiles version, so you can have both curses and tiles installed on the same system, sharing the same save files! Please do contact me if you have any questions about this work, as I'm keen to get it into the official Debian package. If you're opposed to some changes I've made, I hope you'll still accept the other bits.
