Package: jfsutils Version: 1.1.12-2 Severity: important When booting the notebook on battery, Debians fsck-logic prevents running fsck, which is a major fault on JFS, because the journal replay is done in fsck.jfs.
Thus skipping fsck.jfs for the root filesystems results in a unusable system, because / is still mounted read only (and can only be mounted r/w if the fsck went through). Therefore fsck.jfs must be run in any case, independent of battery power or not.
