It is also "just" possible for Daniel to ask for a review on debian-l10n-english. You just send the original templates file and you'll get comments and suggestions. Then you handle the translation update process by sending a call for translations using the nice "podebconf-report-po" tool (from the po-debconf package.....it has a very nice man page).
