Dear Debian people, dear Ukai San,

I am Teun Nijssen, Security Advisor at Tilburg University, but also
responsible for the SURFnet GPG Keyserver at pgp.surfnet.nl as well
as for operating the SURFnet-PKI. My GPG key has been signed by
Phil Zimmermann (PGP) as well as Werner Koch (GPG).

I wholeheartedly support the Debian efforts of Joos van Baal in
general as well as specifically the inclusion of the
SURFnet-PCA-Root-CA in the Debian distributions.

I second the request to include the SURFnet certificate in the Debian
 ca-certificates package.

(Rationale:

/usr/share/doc/ca-certificates/README.Debian

How certificate will be accepted in ca-certificates package
-----------------------------------------------------------

 - submit *GPG signed* bug report to ca-certificate with severity normal.
   the bug report should include
     - description of the CA
     - how to obtain CA cert pem or paste it in the bug report
     - license of the CA certificate
     - fingerprint and/or hash value of the cert
 - get 2 or 3 recommendation ("seconded" mail) from other people to
   the bug report, GPG signed.
I won't accept if the CA is requested by only one people.

thank you,

Teun Nijssen
