Package: xine-ui Version: 0.99.5+cvs20070914-2.1 Even though I set the CD drive slowdown to 2, xine keeps the DVD drive rotating at full speed, which makes an awful lot of noise. If I run "hdparm -E 2 /dev/cdrom" while xine is playing the DVD, then the drive slows down as expected.
