Package: reportbug-ng Version: 1.4.1 Severity: minor If I report a bug against a package which is not installed, for example kdelibs5 4:4.2.2-2, reportbug-ng includes the following :
--- Package information. --- Package's Depends field is empty. Package's Recommends field is empty. Package's Suggests field is empty. This is wrong, as kdelibs5 obviously depends on a lot of things. I'm guessing reportbug-ng gets these fields from a source about installed packages and doesn't expect that the package is not installed. Maybe the Package information section should just be dropped for packages which aren't installed. --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 Debian Release: squeeze/sid 990 testing security.debian.org 990 testing ftp.ca.debian.org 500 unstable ftp.ca.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ================================-+-============ python | 2.5.4-2 python-support (>= 0.90.0) | 1.0.3 python2.5 | 2.5.4-1 python-debianbts (>= 0.3) | 0.4 python-qt4 | 4.4.4-6 xdg-utils | 1.0.2-6.1 xterm | 242-1 Package's Recommends field is empty.
