reassign 535638 libgweather1 kthxbye Apparently, this bug was intentional (git commit 3dd86ed79b065003eec34daa1112cb96dff8c0dd). The commit message says:
Don't worry about sub-city locations; people generally aren't going to know which of the locations is closest to them, and the weather reports from all of them should be basically the same anyway. I disagree. The City of Houston is 1558 square kilometers in size; the metropolitan area is much bigger (over 26000 sq. km). According to Google Maps, HOU (weather station KHOU) is 7.5 miles from me and IAH (KIAH) is 20.5 miles from me. This is a significant difference. Houston tends to have odd weather patterns: it is not uncommon for a torrential downpour to happen in one part of the city, yet have another part get no rain at all. Finally, even if you are going to use only one airport to represent this city (which would not be acceptable to me), you chose the wrong one. KIAH should be chosen for Houston, since IAH is the official reporting location for the city's weather.
