Package: awesome
Version: 3.3.1-1
Severity: normal

Since Awesome 3.2 (or 3.3? Yes, I should file a bug immediately after
characterizing it :-/ ), whenever the NumLock key is turned on on my
keyboard, Awesome will not react to any commands triggered by the
keyboard or the mouse button - It does react to the mouse _movement_
(i.e. moving from a window to the next if they are active in the same
view), and some gadgets (i.e. awful.widget.launcher) do work. What I
have had to do under this circumstance is to open a terminal (via the
launcher) and "drive" awesome through awesome-client.

My setup might deviate a bit from the standard, so this might be an
important point:

• I remove the CapsLock functions from my keyboard with xmodmap:
  remove Lock = Caps_Lock
  add Mod3 = Caps_Lock

• The newly recovered CapsLock key becomes a new Meta-like key using
which I talk to my window manager, without interfering with its
  usual keys.

I am attaching my .config/awesome/rc.lua — Other files under my
awesome/ directory are available if they might be useful.
