Oh. I've never thought of testing this distrib as root. The parser's behavior is different: when run as root, /etc/ssh/ssh_config is edited. As a user, /etc/ssh/ssh_config is loaded to provide accurate default values, then ~/.ssh/ssh_config is edited.
