Package: base Severity: important Hi,
Since I've upgraded I can't create anymore accents by using a compose key (right windows key for me). This problem seems to only appear in all GTK application (Iceweasel, icedove, dia,...). Otherwise it works in a xterm, OOo and konqueror. If I want to create a "é" normally I do : right-windows-key then ' then "e" but I get nothing with icedove for instance. Or if I do right-windows-key then ' then "e" AND then "e" again. I get a reverse "e" like : "ə" :-) I'm don't where this bug come from. It worked correctly before the upgrade to squeeze. Before I was in testing as well but everything should have been close from a lenny actually. I didn't upgrade for a while. Sorry I don't know what kind of information I can give you because I don't even know what's doing that :( Cheers, Thomas -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable'), (700, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.27.4 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
