Just had the same issue. It came up when /etc/init.d/networking restart
So I compiled pdnsd with -g and debuged the thing. It turns out that the label in /etc/pdnsd.conf is not a label at all. At least not in the sense of a label that you come up with on your own to give something a name. It must be a value from a specific list. When I changed the label in pdnsd.conf to resolvconf it started working without the error message. -- Vlatko Šurlan, Evorion.hr fix: 00385 (0)1 3645 089 gsm: 00385 (0)98 1722 187
