Package: debian-goodies

Hello,
I just discovered rc-alert from debian-goodies.
I think a crontab entry with something like 'rc-alert | grep -B 3 -A 1
security' and the installation of this package as a mandatory package of
the basic debian installation may improve debian security.
Can this be done?
Thanks.
