while I personally agree that the directories should not be localized, I also take it that a lot of people do disagree with that. Therefore, I think that it is best to leave it as upstream has choosen it. Also, a Debian specific patch for this sounds like too wrong, as then Firefox (or Iceweasel) would behave different from other distributions regarding of handling you *data*, which is something we should deliberately avoid (in contrary to other settings/customizations/cosmetics). But i don't have a particular strong opinion on that, so I've I miss any good argument in order to do a debian specific thing here, please let me know. In the meanwhile, I'm tagging it wontfix though.
