By now I didn't. There is just a potential risk if the symlinks are created or removed while the service is active. Let's keep focus on the problem I had opened the bug report for: Disabling a service using "insserv -r" or "update-rc.d remove", and how /etc/init.d/rc and invoke-rc.d are supposed to handle this case.
