It doesn't seem so easy though, I have a few packages depending on it:
i A bluez 4.42-2
i A fuse-utils 2.7.4-2
i A libsane 1.0.20-6
i A libsensors3 1:2.10.8-1
i A libsensors4 1:3.1.1-3
i A microcode.ctl 1.17-12
i A powermgmt-base 1.30+nmu1
i x86info 1.24-1
Do you mean I should report bugs against each of those to tell them
makedev is obsolete and they should depend on them ?
Thanks,
Xav
