Package: iceweasel
Version: 3.0.6-1
Severity: normal
The lockpref facility does not work against proxy server settings,
enabling users to be able to bypass the system proxy server.
I have added the following entries to the /etc/iceweasel/pref/iceweasel.js
configuration file, but the settings do not seem to be having any effect:
lockPref("network.proxy.http", webfilter.markhobley.yi.org);
lockPref("network.proxy.http_port", 8888);
lockPref("network.proxy.no_proxies_on", localhost, 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.0/8,
markhobley.yi.org);
lockPref("network.proxy.type", 1);
Mark.
