The problem is not a bug with java-gnome. The package builds fine in pbuilder chroot for unstable. Looks like a bug caused by the combination of glib version and kernel version is being triggered here. I found another similar bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=543587 I am waiting for this package to be synced to Ubuntu to see if it fails there as well, so that I can find out a common solution for build failures.
