Package: soundconverter Version: 1.4.4-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Current version of gnome-desktop-environment, which I think is installed by many Gnome users, conflicts with gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs. At the same time soundconverter depends on it, making the package uninstallable by these users. Looking at the code, I found that soundconverter does not actually depend on the gnomevfs plugin, it first looks for and uses the newer GIO plugin included in gstreamer0.10-plugins-base. Please drop the dependency on gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs to render the package installable.
