Package: libpoppler4 Version: 0.10.6-1 Severity: normal Hello!
Transparency gradients allow to create very appealing visual effects, for example fuzzy shadows and glowing edges. Xpdf and Acrobat Reader are capable of rendering transparency gradients. Applications using libpoppler should be able to render it properly, too. The bug is fixed in upstream version 0.12: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=595391 Andrey Paramonov -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (1000, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libpoppler4 depends on: ii libc6 2.9-25 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-4 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.9-5 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.1-1 GCC support library ii libjpeg62 6b-15 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libopenjpeg2 1.3+dfsg-4 JPEG 2000 image compression/decomp ii libstdc++6 4.4.1-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxml2 2.7.3.dfsg-2.1 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-15 compression library - runtime libpoppler4 recommends no packages. libpoppler4 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/reportbug", line 1950, in <module> main() File "/usr/bin/reportbug", line 953, in main return iface.user_interface() File "/usr/bin/reportbug", line 1942, in user_interface smtphost, self.options.smtpuser, self.options.smtppasswd, self.options.paranoid) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/reportbug/submit.py", line 488, in send_report (sysinfo['email'] % 'n'), (sysinfo['email'] % '999999')) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/reportbug/ui/urwid_ui.py", line 322, in long_message box.main(ui) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/reportbug/ui/urwid_ui.py", line 203, in main return self.ui.run_wrapper(self.run) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/urwid/raw_display.py", line 230, in run_wrapper self.start(alternate_buffer) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/urwid/raw_display.py", line 184, in start sys.stdout.write(escape.SWITCH_TO_ALTERNATE_BUFFER) ValueError: I/O operation on closed file -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
