Package: less Version: 436-1 Severity: wishlist Less provides an option (-S) to chop long lines at the edge of the screen rather than wrapping them. However, less does not mark these chopped lines, making it possible to miss the additional text off the right edge of the screen. Please consider adding a mechanism for less to mark these chopped lines, such as with a bold right-arrow character on the rightmost column. Please also consider adding a new prompt conditional based on whether any lines on the screen continue past the right column; this would allow the prompt to indicate chopped lines.
