I don't think this is really directly relevant to this bug on man-db. If
you want to work on extending groff's HTML backend, which has always
been somewhat light on developer manpower, I'm sure that the upstream
groff mailing list would be interested.

Hmm. It seems to me that that would involve rather a lot of messy
parsing of the HTML data on its way through.
