Hi,
I've noticed that since two or three weeks, my computer takes a bit
longer to shutdown. After investigation, it seems that dhclient3 wasn't
terminated with SIGTERM so that I have to wait until SIGKILL. I've tried
to boot in single mode and kill dhclient3 with SIGTERM : it simply does
nothing.
After doing a lot of hacky things, I've found a kind of workaround. My
network interface was declared as "allow-hotplug eth1", and I replaced
this line by "auto eth1", and now everything works as expected.
But anyway, I would have expected that dhclient3 cleanly shutdowns
itself at computer halt.
