Package: ttf-mscorefonts-installer Version: 2.7 Severity: wishlist
It would be nice if this package offered the option of specifying a path where to look for the .ttf files instead of downloading them. This way, one could for example just grab them from an existing windows installation. A MD5 sum check could make sure that the file offered is what it should be. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ttf-mscorefonts-installer depends on: ii cabextract 1.2-3 a program to extract Microsoft Cab ii debconf 1.5.24 Debian configuration management sy ii defoma 0.11.10-0.2 Debian Font Manager -- automatic f ii wget 1.11.4-2 retrieves files from the web ii xfonts-utils 1:7.4+1 X Window System font utility progr Versions of packages ttf-mscorefonts-installer recommends: ii ttf-liberation 1.04.93-1 Free fonts with the same metrics a ii x-ttcidfont-conf 31 TrueType and CID fonts configurati ttf-mscorefonts-installer suggests no packages. -- debconf information: msttcorefonts/http_proxy: msttcorefonts/dlurl: msttcorefonts/savedir: msttcorefonts/baddldir: msttcorefonts/dldir: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
