Package: nitrogen Version: 1.4-2 Severity: important
When setting fullscreen wallpaper (one for all screens) with xinerama, it sets wallpaper but this cause gui dialog to crash. Also this cause the following error, if you try to set wallpaper for particular screen, launching nitrogen once again (gui crashed, wallpaper is set): (nitrogen:5068): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_utf8_collate: assertion `str2 != NULL' failed Segmentation fault If you try one more time, per screen wallpaper setting works without breaking gui. This behavior make gui useless with xinerama in many cases. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages nitrogen depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.28.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.9-25 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.8-2 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libcairomm-1.0-1 1.8.0-1 C++ wrappers for Cairo (shared lib ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-4 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.9-5 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.1-4 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.22.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libglibmm-2.4-1c2a 2.20.1-1 C++ wrapper for the GLib toolkit ( ii libgtk2.0-0 2.16.6-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkmm-2.4-1c2a 1:2.16.0-2 C++ wrappers for GTK+ 2.4 (shared ii libpango1.0-0 1.26.0-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpangomm-1.4-1 2.24.0-3+b1 C++ Wrapper for pango (shared libr ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.0.18-2 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libstdc++6 4.4.1-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.2.2-1 X11 client-side library ii libxinerama1 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Xinerama extension library nitrogen recommends no packages. nitrogen suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
