Package: libasound2-plugins Version: 1.0.21-1 Severity: normal
Hi, the Speex DSP plugin is mentioned in the Documentation: /usr/share/doc/libasound2-plugins/speexdsp.txt But following the example in there results in: $ arecord -fdat -c1 -Dplug:my_pcm foo.wav ALSA lib pcm.c:2171:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_speex.so arecord: main:608: audio open error: No such file or directory grepping the changelog.Debian shows no mention of any speex related changes. But the upstream changelog includes changes to the plugin, so it must still be included. ;) Yours Marcus -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-amd64-custom (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libasound2-plugins depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.21a-1 shared library for ALSA applicatio ii libavcodec52 5:0.5+svn20091001-0.0 library to encode decode multimedi ii libc6 2.9-27 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libjack0 0.116.2+svn3592-3 JACK Audio Connection Kit (librari ii libpulse0 0.9.19-1 PulseAudio client libraries ii libsamplerate0 0.1.7-3 Audio sample rate conversion libra libasound2-plugins recommends no packages. libasound2-plugins suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
