Package: gtk2-engines-xfce Version: 2.6.0-2 Severity: normal I use XFCE from Debian Sid. When running some GTK programs from a terminal emulator (xfce4-terminal), I get some error messages printed to stderr, that are related to settings in the file /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
After having done "export GTK-DEBUG=1", those error messages are: Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:47: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-spacing' of type `GtkBorder' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:46: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-size' of type `GtkRequisition' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:47: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-spacing' of type `GtkBorder' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:46: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-size' of type `GtkRequisition' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:47: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-spacing' of type `GtkBorder' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:46: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-size' of type `GtkRequisition' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:47: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-spacing' of type `GtkBorder' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:46: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-size' of type `GtkRequisition' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' Gtk-Message: /usr/share/themes/Xfce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:47: failed to retrieve property `GtkOptionMenu::indicator-spacing' of type `GtkBorder' from rc file value "0" of type `glong' .. .. .. I get these when running the programs gspiceui and gftp, although the number of lines is not the same in each case. The programs work fine, but these messages clutter up the terminal. Personally, I just removed lines 46 and 47 from those files, without noticing any bad effects.
