I have been experiencing this same problem for the past several days,
after a recent gtk2 update I believe. In my case Aqualung is using about
60% of both cpus ( Intel 2.4C with hyperthreading ) and the application
is just a blank rectangle. I tied to use the window button to annihilate
it, which closes the blank rectangle, but the process is still running
and using much cpu. It does not show up using ps -aux so I have to use
top to see it and kill it. It's quite annoying to have to kill the app
and restart just to play some more music. Below are the errors (
slightly different than jpaecek's ) , but repeated endlessly
:
(aqualung:5284): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_store_get_path: assertion `iter->stamp
== tree_store->stamp' failed
(aqualung:5284): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_path_get_depth: assertion `path !=
NULL' failed
(aqualung:5284): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_path_up: assertion `path != NULL'
failed
(aqualung:5284): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_model_get_iter: assertion `path !=
NULL' failed
(aqualung:5284): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_store_iter_next: assertion `iter->stamp
== GTK_TREE_STORE (tree_model)->stamp' failed
