But I have to believe that legacy BIOS Yes - but any partition with a legacy bootloader is identified as "Windows" by Apple's GUI choser, which is very confusing. Also having to hold down the option key is a bother as the machine can't boot without the user attending. I have also learned that grub2 has efi The legacy BIOS will remain on Apple machines until Windows supports EFI or Mac OS X overtakes Windows in terms of marketshare, whichever comes first. All in all, that's a couple years from now.
