The structure of /srv/ is defined by the local administrator, not by the
distribution. See FHS and Lintian[1]. note that Lintian detects 0
package with dir-or-file-in-srv.
 
As a maintainer of a package which place some files inside tftpboot, I
do need a way to know where tftpboot is (thus my previous proposals).

FYI the default location for various pacakges are:
 unstable's atftp => /var/lib/tftpboot
 unstable's tftpd-hpa => /srv/tftp
 unstable's tftpd => /srv/tftp
also
 unstable's dnsmasq => /var/ftpd (example)
 python-tftpy => /tftpboot (example)
