So, perhaps d-i should put UUID in /etc/fstab by default intead of dev path. So is it a d-i bug?What do you think that "fixed lately"? Is this bug fixed? Why not change kernel as package which has a bug for d-i?It can't be fixed in the kernel; it is an inherent problem with the design of USB. Ben.
