It seems not a problem of Dvgrab, more of your camera or usage?
Because Dvgrab gives the new file a new (the current) timestap,
if a new scene begins or if size limit is reached.
This worked fine for a while in your log, but failed at the end.
Let's see:

I have no idea, was went wrong at the end. Are there no more video on the
tape and Dvgrab read empty data without new timestamps?

What was special with your video at this position?
Was the tape at the end?
