I disagree. At lest I'm using wontfix and close for valid bug reports,
which are fixed in a later version, but are not fixed in the version
before (i.e. gcc-3.3, gcc-4.0).

'wontfix' implies that there is a bug report, where there is no
one. And even searching within the archived bug reports, skipping
those tagged 'invalid' would limit your search to real bug reports.
