As in this case the problem is in the tspc package I'm reassigning,
also because there's already bug 8639 filed against dpkg.

The normal way to fix this kind of problem is to upgrade to a fixed
version and then remove the package, it might seem counterintuitive,
but it's the only way to guarantee a clean and proper removal of
packages.
