Upstream is very responsive to patches nowadays, so I'm confident. In any case, I wanted to mark in the debian bug where a [partial] patch to fix this bug could be found. The patch is only partial since it only allows to commit in a svn for now. Support for git and hg are planed, but none for cvs. Bill, would that be ok for you?
